"WHAT IF WE INVEST ALL THIS TIME, ENERGY AND TRAINING INTO OUR STAFF AND STAKEHOLDERS AND THEY LEAVE OUR DISTRICT?"
AT MB ENTERPRISE, OUR RESPONSE IS,
"WHAT IF YOU DON’T AND THEY STAY?"
MB Enterprise is the only PD provider to combine Maslow and Bloom expertise into a 3-Step blended learning system, personalized to meet the training and support needs of all of your school system's Influencers: parents, teachers, administrators and board members.
Our solution is simple: cultivate successful students and increase leadership capacity in ALL levels of a school system, from the home to the boardroom.
Step 1: Choose 1 of our 6 pre-selected video packages or select a variety of our topic specific video series to provide the interactive video trainings your Influencers need for your weekly, monthly and/or quarterly meetings.
Step 2: Determine how many on-site and/or WebEx trainings your Influencers also need to successfully implement what is learned from the video trainings throughout the year.
Step 3: Select the coaching and mentoring session packages your Influencers desire to meet their own Maslow & Bloom needs for success.
MB ENTERPRISE BELIEVES IN THESE TENETS:
- The young brain is different.
- The young brain is HIGHLY influenced by environment.
- Student success is not by chance…but by design.
- Student success increases when parents and educators work together to meet student needs designed around two principles…Maslow and Bloom.
To grow Bloom’s…cultivate Maslow.
In 1943, Dr. Abraham Maslow identified a hierarchy of basic needs that influence a person's ability and motivation to succeed: physiological, safety, relational and esteem related needs.
If these basic needs are met, then the brain has enough cognitive energy to devote to critical thinking and academic achievement potential, or what Maslow referred to as self-actualization.
If they are not met, the brain becomes stressed and uses tremendous cognitive energy to try to get those needs met...leaving little cognitive energy for critical thinking and academic success.
If the brain is stressed, learning shuts down.
In 1956, Dr. Benjamin Bloom identified 6 levels of critical thinking that are beneficial to learning and retention, known as Bloom's Taxonomy. The Taxonomy was later updated but is still symbolic of the critical thinking strategies and academic lessons that educators use throughout curricula to develop college and career ready skills.
These critical thinking skills require tremendous cognitive energy to master. Sometimes we force feed curricula and interventions to try to help struggling students; however, for many, their struggles have more to do with their Maslow deficiencies, than their Bloom's.
The home and school environments are both instrumental in meeting the Maslow and Bloom needs to promote healthy brain development and student success.
We support the home and school partnership and provide cohesive training and support in both Maslow and Bloom principles to ALL influencers in a school system:

Why does MB Enterprise provide training to all stakeholders in your system?
Because they are the INFLUENCERS that schools and districts are responsible for training an supporting, yet administrators often Encounter roadblocks as they:
Do not have the time to create systemic PD for ALL Influencers
Do not have the resources to create such varied trainings
Do not have the coaching and mentoring staff and expertise to support ALL Influencers
Do not have the time to provide for adequate implementation of training ideas
THESE ROADBLOCKS OFTEN LEAD TO:
Teachers feeling underprepared to meet student needs and becoming disenfranchised
Parents feeling neglected and disconnected from the school system and struggling to meet their child’s Maslow and Bloom needs
Administrators feeling exhausted and unfulfilled, as they don’t see continual growth in their schools
School-Board Members being unaware of the research, strategies and resources to develop an environment that is conducive to continual learning and success
